The guava mojito was very tasty and refreshing. I enjoyed the mango cake as well, but it is definitely for people who enjoy desserts that aren’t as sweet. The mangos themselves were juicy and delicious. Presentation is beautiful and staff was quick and friendly.

This shop is so warm and inviting. It's so sweet not only deliciously but super cute/sweet! I enjoyed all of what I tried there. I loved the sesame mochi cookie the texture and flavor was incredible. The pineapple Victoria cake slice. The banana pudding oh my gosh! Woah! The strawberry scone. And the dacquoise was also amazing! A must taste! They also have amazing beverages to choose from. Got the matcha latte! Yum!

AMAZING! 💗 This is my new go-to dessert shop!
Pros:
Friendly employees
Wide variety (and rotating menus to keep you coming back!)
Fantastic flavors with perfect balance
Cons:
The guava mojito didn’t have a strong lime or mint flavor if still tasted delicious!
We especially loved the creme brulee castella cake!

We have been frequenting Make It Sweet for the past two years, and let me tell you, this place has become a weekly stop (one of our favorite parts of our week). The Oreo shakes and Banana Carmel Cream Lattes are absolutely killer, as is the banana pudding, the macarons, the chocolate cakes, the donuts, the Nutella cookies, you name it. They’re so kind and everything is made by hand! They also offer some great gift treat boxes, group orders, and are so incredibly hard working for their customers. I cannot give a higher review for this place, and if you haven’t been there, you need to go and experience it for yourself! The pictures are just some of the amazing things we’ve gotten from Make it Sweet!

Best Macarons I have ever had! Such a good value too. Also recommend the cream puff donut things- the cream filling was amazing. Highly recommend!

A local hidden gem! You HAVE TO TRY their banana cream latte. It's like having the Magnolia's banana cream pie but caffeinated in a latte form lol.
If your looking for a treat that is French-inspired with a touch of Asian creativity and beauty, I highly recommend this place. If you're visiting Lansing/East Lansing, stopping by this place should be on your schedule 😀.
Few other recommendations:
1) Financier cake: coffee hazelnut and earl grey are the perfect size and texture. Not too sweet, yet moist and buttery. I love all almond-based cakes, and this didn't disappoint.
2) Basque Cheesecakes (not in pic): It's a cheesecake that isn't overwhelmingly thick. If you've had Japanese cheesecakes, it's very similar. The texture is somewhere between fluffy and creamy.
3) Macarons: This isn't the trader joes or costco macarons. It's a perfect balance of chewy and sweet. They also offer creative flavors like the churro flavor.
4) Dalgona coffee: Don't waste your precious time making dalgona (it is a Korean delicacy that appeared on Squid game). Just grab your dalgona coffee from here. I like this better than brown sugar coffee.
What's amazing is their price point for such quality. I usually do grab and go, but the place has cute, instagrammable seating areas too.
Highly recommend!

I’ve been here several times now and I love it! I usually get a sparkling drink here and those are always amazing, but the strawberry matcha is delicious too! The crème brûlée is a must have! Definitely recommend.
